Which would you prefer?
Just been looking at the prices for both of the above, and they havent moved much. I think the GT-R will start coming down soon with the UK orders hitting the shores.
I think i'd prefer a R35 GT-R, but I know for a fact Fee would prefer the R8.
If you had 60-70k to waste on a car would you buy either, or go for something a bit more conventional like a 997?
GT-R

R8

I think the R8 looks a bit awkward from some angles. The cabin too far forward too. Still a bloody nice car though

gtr, without a shadow of a doubt, even with the bumming nissan constraints on modifying / performance limits etc

R34 GT-R Far nicer car imo. Save some money and after a few cosmetic mods...can be a stunner!
if i had to pick one of those two, i would go for the GT-R.

if any gtr, the r32 is the most awesome raw driving one out of the 4 (32,33,34,35) in my opinion, maybe not the most agressive looking but still have one over any other

I'm totally the opposite. R8 has some presence.

GT-R, no reason why really except I think it's more of a drivers car, if you get what I mean. I see the R8 for posing and the GT-r for driving like you stole it, sound amazing too.

r8 is abit of a penis extension. the r35 on the otherhand looks abit understated

R35 - understated Its a thug of a car.....
I'd prob opt for a 997 GT3 too, but i dont think you could get one for the price of a 500mile R35 GT-R

i personally dnt see the problem, a "thug' of a driving machine that will kick arse, or a penis extension for the bored, overpaid footballer?
i take this bck for anyone with a white r8 as they are an exception, white cars rule!

Same here. They're far too common these days too.
GT-R all the way. They have so much more presence than the R8.

could / would you pay 50k for a nissan though I know its just a name, but still.
Some funny comments on GTRoc from new R35 owners saying friends family are in disbilief becasue they have chopped in their Porsche for a bloody Nissan. They won’t know much about the GT-R so I guess that just shows perception
