i have one also but never play it really more of a pc gamer any how
he was watching a bluray when i fooked up had only been on for 10 min
sony want 150 to fix it whats the script can you diagnose the problem yourself or what ? he feels 150 is abit much as he got the console on launch and paid about 425
plese dont turn this into fanboy stuff

Dan was saying the other day sign up for 4.99 a month or something like that, get it fixed, then cancel the direct debit.

As john said. Take out continuous play insures (google it)
Give it 2 or 3 weeks, if nothing through the post, ring up and ask for your policy number as you need it.
They giveu the number, u ring sony, tell them trhat number
2 days later ps3 turns up, u give them ures, they give replacement.
cancel the direct debit.
will cost u 9.98 instead of the 150
