Here we have my 2002 Clio 172 Cup for sale, its got to go due to a career change and the fact i could easily spent ££££ modifying this, when in reality i need to finish my corsa
As standard electric windows, electric mirrors, power steering, cat 1 alarm and immobiliser
as im sure you all know this is the stripped out version. ie. No leather seats, no digital climate control, no air con, no abs, no traction control, no zenons, no spare wheel, no engine cover, no auto wipers, no headlight washers etc
Being the cup model it benefits from wider track, thinner front glass, light weight alloys, better suspension, bigger spoiler, slightly lower etc
All in the name of saving weight. Total save of 89kgs
The car has had a fortune spent on it in the last 7 months to prepare it for long term ownership and enjoyment, but now a “shed” or van is a more sensible option, which is a shame as the car has lived up to everything I had hoped for and more
I haven’t used the car on track days, and it shows no signs of being a track car in its previous life, unlike a lot of others, however, with the work carried out I’m sure it would make an excellent one
I have listed the FULL service history the car has, and major maintenance the car has had carried out, I have all the receipts and invoices for this work and a fully stamped service book, the car has had up to this year full Renault service history, and then further upgrades and preventive maintenance has been carried out by the very well regarded Rentech Repairs business
The car has 2 Renault keys, and complete orginal tool kit and "cup" towing eye complete and included in the sale
