I thought this might interest some of you (or not)

We completed the design/build of this boat last week; its a brand new concept with a brand new higher speed hull; twin 300hp engines; tri console set-up and a resilliantly(sp) mounted deck along with the suspension seating.

Not a big fan of that really.
The instrument panels don't look good and the radar mast looks like a after thought.

Its the way a lot of military RIBs are going now - its not really meant to be attractive tbh. The instrumentation is pre-integrated - the end user carries a spare of each in stock and simply unbolts/disconnects one and reconnects the new one - No down time!

The Radar mast is the same; pre-integrated and essentially bolt on bolt off.

Shame they can just fire over it and pop you in the head.

its not reinforced for bullet proof protection; its reinforced more for boarding/beaching operations. There is a bolt on/bolt off gun mount with shield which sits on the open aft deck with a 180degree firing range for defensive fire (easier to shoot backwards on a boat than forwards)
