It is coming up with Airflow Sensor (Sensor Frequency)?
It will rev but not from nothing to full throttle, it just dies.
If you let the throttle off again it will rev.
It's sounds as if there is too much air being sucked in but everything is sealed and has new gaskets.
It has a Dbilas plenum chamber, X16Xe throttle body and K&N panel filter. Everything else is standard.
I have changed the air mass meter but it does exactly the same.

Any ideas?

Blocked fuel filter has same symptoms, as does failing fuel pump, blocked fuel lines/injectors.

Can you get it to full throttle slowly and does it stay revving high or tail off?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

If I rev it slowly it will hold high revs.
If I rev it quickly it dies on full throttle until I back off to three quarters throttle and then I can accelerate slowly to full throttle again.
I have tried two different fuel pumps now with no change.
As it has about 135bhp now would I need bigger injectors or would the standard 1600 ones still cope?
Running out of ideas now.

Changed the regulator and it made no difference.
Then changed the injectors for red top cream ones and it made things worse.
No idea why it won't run on full throttle.
It is not showing any fault codes at all now.

May try that next, I have changed about everything else.
Not showing any fault codes now though but still won't run on full throttle.
