I've got a cone filter on my XE at the minute and don't like it.
What pipe do people use between the 1.2 aribox and AFM as the ID are different sizes?

i have an enclosed filter, its heat soak that lets the XE down if u use a cone

it will only hold back if you dont derestrict the airbox. im putting my airbox in 2day in gna take the restisters out and drill some holes in my box with a gd cold air feed should be ok.

It is an enclosed cone but still is sluggish below 2k rpm.

My airbox was derestricted, didnt pull anywhere near as hard.

Well if you have it de-restricted and an up rated panel filter its gonna work the same as pretty much any enclosed aftermarket filter...
