It was a serious answer. You asked for our thoughts, my thoughts are a house will be a better investment for your kids than a quad bike.

Two options? I didnt realise it was a multiple choice sort of thread, my thoughts (which she asked for) didnt fall in with either answer a or b in this case.

Should of done a poll.

I think thats a bit young like depending on what the kids are like, I know of 6 year olds who are still very young but I also know of ones that seem older and would be able to take to something like this, all depends on the child itself.

Personally I wouldn't get my daughter a quad bike at that age. A power wheels maybe.

Clearly eh, I thought the last bit that said would you say they are too young? gave it away but it seems a man of your intelligence needs two buttons to answer the question.

I had my first 80cc Honda trike when i was about 8 i think. I came off it quite a few times, but thankfully i never hurt myself badly. I think a quad would be a little safer and more stable, but 5 is still far too young.

You'd hate yourself if he had an accident and hurt himself really badly.

Ah, so I should of skipped the 'thoughts' question and just answered the latter. Didnt realise thats how threads work, will give that a go in the future.

Toughts = select option a or b, dont give a actual thought/opinion

Not too young IMO, I started riding an 100cc motorbike when I was 10 years old, I would say a small 50cc quad would be fine, you can get ones with restrictors In the throttle so max speed can be running pace.

http://www.uk-mini-motos.co.uk/mini_quad_bike_black.php

prob better to go for a small light one like this, the bigger ones might be more dangerous as they are heavier.

So you wouldn't be buying it for them then you'd be buying it for the adult and they'd get a shot riding with them?
