Hi guys ive got an sxi 1.2 16v and im quite annoyed at the rattley rasp noise it makes when i cane it. does anyone know how to get rid of it? i heard it was the altenator,but i dont think so?
i dont really want to fit a full exhaust system...you guys got any idea?

Mines the same mate u got a corsa C by any chance not really much u can do about it all the people I know with this car have the same thing

suppose its just a normal sound the engine makes? mine sounds fine with a steinmetz exhaust and k&n panel filter!
oh and i drive a 1.2sxi C (75bhp)

Yup its normal i was told it was the timing chain tensioner so i replaced it it was a bit quieter but i was thewn told it was the injector rail so i had a listen with a stethascope and yes it is the injector rail

Mine does it and its the 1.2 8v Corsa B. Only right at the top of the rev range, works as a gear change indicator
