me. 3 times.
It was great. But off a crane may be a bit boring.
Jumping off a bridge into a river =
Jumping off a ledge into a river, off a side of a canyon =
Jumping off a cable car down into a valley =
Jumping off a 160 ft crane in a car park (probably) =
Either way, there's nothing like that feeling once your feet are strapped in and you are walking to the edge to jump.
Everything in your body is trying to stop you from jumping, legs go stiff, brain is shouting 'NOOOO!!!'...
Then you go 3, 2, ,1 --- and jump off
Beat the hell out of the skydive, which in comparison was fairly dull.

I'd love to do it but I fear I couldn't actually go through with it.

Not sure if these will work...
but

Only issue is I think 1 of my retina's may of detached slightly. As ever since I've been left with grey areas of vision / big blind spots on my right eye vision... googling it seems this is a sign of detached retina, which is known from bungee jumps...
Enjoy

Did the one in Cairns Australia (AJ Hackett) and absolutely loved it.

Did a running jump one off the roof there too which was brilliant.
Would definately do it again, although only at a proper place like that.

They had bungee jumping on the pub car park the other week
naturally i passed
diving face first from a cherry picker with an elastic band towards a concrete car park doesn't sound like a fun way to die

Matt, Bungee Extreme are based just the other side of Leek from you - might be worth finding out where they're doing it next

That's not the highest, the highest is in Switzerland here:

722ft.
Well fancy a go on that.
Does anyone know any decent (permanent) bungees in the UK?

to be honest, the higher ones don't feel as extreme when you've jumped off as some of the lower ones do.
The higher ones are more extreme up to the point you jump off.
but once you've launched it's not that scary.
the lower ones where you go close to the ground / through the water, are pretty extreme, you jump off and hurtle straight down towards ground surface
the really high ones you are facing forward (not looking down) by the time you get anywhere near the ground, so you don't get the ground rushing up at you.

As if that's gonna get it out of my head now
TBH millions of people have got away without injury. I'd probably go for it in the right setting anyway (not a pub car park).
