we are looking at getting another pup and have found a breeder that we like, the pups will be ready on the 15th aug but we go away on the 19th aug for 10 days to scotland, apart from the pup not having its injections is there anything else i should worry about? and what are the chances of the pup catching something if we take it out?
p.s serious comments only please

I didn't think you were supposed to take them anywhere for about 6 weeks after you got them.

I wouldn't risk it tbh. Puppys can easily pick something up and with hardly any immunity they're fucked.

leave it and wait until you're back imo.
not worth risking it. my dog got pawvo? sp? and died when it was only a few weeks old

A kennel will only look after dogs that are at least 6 month old.

Yeah to be honest it's not worth the risk. You could get a dog sitter?

To be honest it maybe worth waiting for a pup after the holiday. If she's due another litter soon it should be ready by time you come back?

we want to get on while our other dog is still a pup so she will accept the new pup also we dont want the age to be too far apart as we will be working the dogs as soon as they are old enough

Might be better of waiting until your current dog is more mature as that's what im doing at the moment. Going to wait till he's 2-3 then introduce another. But course everyone is different.
Is it another Siberian or a different type?

IIRC the pup has to be a certain age before getting the injections and you need 2 sets over a week and after that you have to wait another week or two before it can go out.
Not sure if that's 100% correct though.

first injection is at 8 weeks then second is at 12 weeks then they have to wait a week after that, so they should be 13 weeks before they can go out
