As title says what will happen, as I have got a sport that was a 1.4 converted to a 1.6 and it seems to hold back/have a massive flat spot and it is slower than it should be, would this be the problem?

yes i had this problem change it to a 1.6 ecu and chip and you will notice a massive difference!!
