fcuk off and go to a cafe or coffee shop if you want that. Pissses me of when im trying to get a drink in and some diks are ordering teas and coffees. These "new" types of pubs are a joke.

I've been in my local and had a cup of tea plenty of times. Admittedly it's usually first thing in the morning when the place is empty and I've just stopped in for a chat but most of the time when I go to the pub I'm driving so so what if I want a cuppa

Some people prefer the atmosphere in a pub as opposed to a coffee house

i think he has a point, i used to work in a pub in St Albans, and at 8pm on a friday a guy was like, can i have a coffee?

i just told him the machine was broken

I think its perfectly acceptable to drink tea or coffee in a pub.

It just takes bloody ages though when they order a hot drink.

Most the Staff don't know how to use the machine!

In all honesty; When I used to run the pub/restaurant I used to love selling tea and coffee - it was far more profitable than beer.

Teabag 0.5p
Hot Water incl rates etc 1p
Sugar 0.5p
milk 2p
washing up 10p(pot wash wages etc)

so about 14p for a Tea which I sold for £1.50

a beer was making about 25/30% for comparison
