Right I got a scorpion manza backbox fitted about two months ago and it was banging like mad whenever someone was in the back of the car i traced the problem to the clamp on the backbox and the middle section which was hitting the rear axle. I sorted that out and now its back its p!ssing me off it cost me 180 fitted from the vauxhall garage and they wont do a thing about it. Can anyone give me any ideas what to I was thinking of maybe putting some foam or something on the axle but its a bit dramatic isnt it. Could it be something else like the shocks or springs ? how do u know when they are on there way out ? soz for the long story any help well appreciated

No its definately hitting the rear torsion bar. pretty much every corsa will suffer this during its life! Its down to crap exhaust mounts. Get Vectra ones, they are supposed to be much better at holding the exhaust close to the car.

had this on my corsa, just put secure some foam around the rear axle where it bangs, secure it with gaffer tape and that will stop it bangin loudly. i used two lengths of pipe foam insulation cut in half, cost me £3 from B&Q for all the bits

Mines dropped 60mm on 15s and rattles with 1 in the back.
I did ttry sorting it but it came back.
Just gonna wait for a custom exhaust powerflow or the like. Tell them exactly what I want and that I dont want it to rattle with a full car.

"it could also be the the new clamp on your back box hitting the rear axle, to remedy this buy a band type clip looks alot like a hose clip. "
(advice taken from 1 of the max power magazines)
i have a nasty knocking coming from the rear left brake on hard braking, what could this be? warped/warn drum?
