As above need some help with the morette indicators fittment?

i no i need to cut bumper? its a pre 97 bumper

has any one done a step by step on this? as i will only get one go at this before i mess it up

any help would be great

how did yous...cut and make sure there were perfect and matched up either side? i dont want a crappy job..

i was thinking rather then cut bumper i no others have located the indicators else were? i.e bike indicators,are in fog lamps?? grill? whats the easy way out?

ive cable tide mine to the back of the grill so they carnt be seen until there lit up

You can put them in the main beam unit but anything below the number plate level is not legal as they need to be a certain distance from the floor.

If you want to cut the bumper and get it equal then just measure twice as you can only cut once

Even if you make a complete hash of it, a replacement bumper isn't expensive.

I put mine in the main beam light.


I drilled the light unit, Think it was 8 or 10mm fitted a rubber bung from Halfords and used a couple of side repeater bulb holders.
Also I had to fit these Resistor as the front bulb should be a 21W but a side light bulb is only 5W. You need the resistor to stop your lights flashing fast.

My morettes indicators are in the main beam hole too...........

thanks i think am either going to go for my inner fog lights/convert them to indicators?
are either behind the grill?? as said above..

i will try grill first no harm in that + i will not mess that up

I have mine behind my grill and diddnt get an advisory for it...
