some loan shark lent a family £500 and the family had to repay him nearly £90,000.

loan shark has now bin given a suspended sentence

I highly doubt they paid anywhere near £90,000 back.

only heard it briefly on the radio so not 100% if they paid it or not but they are definatly the figures mentioned.
