anybody watching it tonight?


Me and Mrs Jambo went to a local viewing spot and watched at about 9:30 > 10:30pm saw 4 of them, one of them was huge too all over in a split second but so so cool

shes too tired to stay out late but was fun watching


p.s conertibles are awesome for star gazing seats reclined and heated

Seen a bit about it on the news, couple of the bigger meteor's folk have found go for huge amounts of money

depends Matt, much light round your way? Local dogging spot is your best bet.

perseids meteor showers are anual, and tonight/2mo are the peak nights as they go on for about 5 days

unfortunatly ifs fookin cloudy! if its clear you should be able to see most of them around mid night

supposed to be 10:30 onwards here but im far to ickled to go to a decent viewing place, u need to be in the country side in a high place for best view

Ed its just down the road from winter hill, smaller spot but great for viewing stars as theres no artificial light

aparently 2am is the "peak" time according to the astronomy club who where there last night.

Get away from towns. Towns create light, light = harder to see into the night sky.


Go right out into the countryside, well away from any towns or light, and you cna actually see our Milky Way belt

Most busiest action "SHOULD" be tonight, busiest being early morning before sunrise, but you should get to see some tonight before beddie bies
