I've seen a few military helicopters flying around recently, awesome stuff

Best stuff I've seen in the sky is: Sopwith Camel, Concorde, Red Arrows (NOT at an airshow), B52 and some sort of Triplane

Chinooks are pretty common around here (probably due to Chicksands, military/secret service training base, and Henlow being pretty close), usually get a pair of them flying around once a week. Also get a few Apache helicopters doing low practice flying every now and again, pretty amazing when they slowly hover out from the woods a few hundred feet off the ground

chinooks are ace, sound is boss.

in a chinook related story, i was driving back through wales from a customer's caravan park in Portmahdog when i could hear the thumping, it approached from behind so i couldnt see it but i could hear that distinct thudding, i thought there was something wrong with the van til it went flying over in front of me it was pretty low too, which was nice
