i have k&n style filter on corsa b.when i have it just on air intake on top of carb it sounds beefy and nice but runs shit and slow. when i put k&n on a bit of rubber pipe from standard airbox is runs alot better but sounds shit.how can i get sound and power?

when you got this K'n N stlyed cone filter did it come with fitting instructions or was it a chepo shite one off flebay?

best thing is you need to fit it to the induction pipe not straight to (the single point injector/throttle body) as im guessing your car is a 1.2 or 1.4 8v?

you'll never get power out of these things unfortunatly, just a shit load of noise and heat soak if you have a 14 or 16xe

was on car when got it. been reading few bits on here gunna go the scrappers for standard airbox and gunna drill it
