I know theres been loads of threads recently where people have said something about their job etc, well...
6 people left recently and I put on my status should I be the 7th. I also put that I wasn't looking forward to being on the phone.
My managers just said to me that she is aware that I'm not happy and maybe this isn't the job for me, she also said I know we're not friends on FB but I'm aware of your status last week! Spies everywhere

Who fuckers buisness is it what you put on your status!!
I'd just delete all my work friends off there!
Or look for your manager on there and see who your mutual friends are.....

Its not like I've actually said anything which bad mouths the company.

surely if you get sacked because of something said on facebook then you have grounds to sue for unfair dismissal?
different if you said ''i stole such and such'' or ''i called a customer a prick today'' though.

Facebook is a bit of a nightmare for this. I fell foul of Facebook at a previous job and my current job is even stricter on stuff on Facebook, so nothing about work goes on there.

1. Never add anyone from work, if you do make sure they are on a tight limited profile
2. Having your name changed slightly puts off searches on your name
3. Use a different email address that you used to send your CV/advertise as your private email address.

I got in the office today and someone at work was like 'you look tired, I read your facebook status on the weekend'...
my status was something like 'Seriously hung over, hanging like a bitch'
but to be fair I went out on sat, so that shouldn't effect me on monday... but you still get the impression that it was said to me like 'I know why you are tired at work'
