I saw him a couple of years ago in Oxford at a small weekly comedy show. To be honest he wasn't great, he got heckled a fair bit in a bad way which was awkward because he has no come backs. Even though I thought the guys heckling were dicks I did understand their reasoning, jokes were few and far between. Is he on a big tour?

I don't think so, its a comedy night. He is on with Bob Mills, Tony Burgess and Steve Royle.
Hattie Hayridge who played Holly in later series is appearing in October.

Should be alright if theres some other people then, his main gag was pulling different size plastic bags out of his pockets throughtout his set. Hopefully he's improved on that
