just thought i'd put a thread up of my corsa's life before it ended.
just a shame the car was worth more money in parts than a whole.

when i first had it:

changed wheels and buckets:

new engine in:

another set of wheels and gsi bumper:

new engine

and now

she will be missed.

As he said, probably worth more in parts.

Spankingly clean engine with box - £250?
Gsi front - £100 - 150
Angel Eyes - £50?
Seats - £300?
Wheels if decent tyres - £300
Exhaust, lights, cd player etc.

All adds up, theres over a grand there easy without any panels etc. Just a ballache and depends on how quickly you need the money I guess.

It means its a corsa B, its not really a car that is really worth keeping fresh, its worth more in bits.

Thats if the owner wants to keep it, he didnt want it anymore, more money in parts, so why not split it? I personally would of stripped it to standard then sold it, step further here

I liked it how it was when you bought it apart from the gash fog lights.

it means a corsa b is an old car that is worth very little these days, no matter if it is in great nic or not

can make a good bit more splitting and selling in bits
