Dont wish to genralise too much but this definatly applies to all of the ones I work with
Walked in to the staff room today and caught the tail end of the discussion
"my car wont start very well anymore"
"maybe its run out of oil"
"what do you mean oil?
"the black stuff that goes in the front"
"Yer I know what oil is"
tbh im no expert on cars but I did

Yeh you put it in the hole the dipstick sits in don't you? Or is it in the bit labelled 710?

Well yeah, i suppose thats a good point but do you think they ever see it when its being poured in clean*

Did any of you see 5th gear when they were out in public and getting people to check their oil levels. A woman very confidently pulled out her dip stick, then opened the oil filler cap and dipped the dip-stick into the head of the engine

First time I heard about the 710 it confused me
But yea listening to women folk chat about cars makes me laugh, but also mad, cos they never accept why they are wrong
