Anyone on here had it done before? Im away to see a place on Thursday about getting it done.
Just wondering how well it worked? Its on my inner forearm

What colour is it? Apparently, if you have green in there then its the worst colour to remove.

Also, are you having it removed/dulled down with a view to getting the area covered up with another tattoo?

I know a couple of people that have had it done and the cover up I got looks much better than the scar they're left with IMO

Its a horrible skull thing i got when i was 15.
I heard that about colour, luckily its just black and grey.

Im thinking about having it covered up, all depends on how well it looks after removal.

so you do still end up with a scar then? this proves that a guy i work with is a billy bullshitter. he reckons he had a huge tattoo removed a few years ago but he hasn't got any marks or scars from it.

Doesnt always scar, in fact these days it can be fairly good.

Your best bet is just getting it faded using laser removal and then getting the area covered up with something you want as you'll never get rid of it totally.

If your thinking about covering it up after removal why not go discuss maybe having it covered with something different and new first? Could be alot cheaper..

A friend of mine just had a tattoo removed.. It was her ex-husbands name, then it was covered up with flowers which ended up looking shit so she spent about 2 grand having it all removed.. She's now got scaring (looks like minor burns)..

Why oh why do people get partners names tattoo'd?

you can have tattoos removed without scarring.

a process involving going over the tatoo again with a tattoo gun, injecting an organic neutraliser, that destroys tattoo pigment.

Gary O'Connor, the Birmingham striker, had one removed behind his ear and it looks a complete mess. I'd suspect with earning 30k a week his would have been the most expensive removal method going.

Saw a bloke the other day who had one removed. Looked horrible, i'd personally look into getting it covered or if its on your arm maybe get a sleeve/half sleeve? That's what i'm planning to do with one tattoo i'm not fond of.

Getting it covered would be much cheaper and I hear much less painful (Not sure if anybody can back this up)

Feels exactly the same as getting any tattoo. No idea on the laser removal though

my mate had his removed, he had the letter b tattoo'd on his neck, not very big but i remember he had about 6-7 sessions to have it removed and it scared.

think it cost him 50 quid a session for a small tat..

Well im booked in tomorow at 4! Going to a place called Tribe tattoo in Edinburgh. There pretty expensive as there known as one of the top on Scotland and Britain. Iv learned my lessons about you get what you pay for though

There also going to do the cover up when its removed.

Il post some before and after pictures when i get back tomorow.

Had my first session today! Couple pictures for anyone interested.

Not much differance yet. Was told it would be about two weeks into the healing before i would really notice any change. Although the grey shading thats on the tattoo is just about gone already! Also removed a few bits of the black lines, around the bottom left of the tattoo.
And in my honest opinion, it hurts like ****! Much worse than getting the tattoo done in the first place.
