Do you get hangovers?

I do... BADLY

A few 'tips' that I have heard which I aint tried yet are

Eat a meal before you start drinking

Drink lots of water before you start drinking

Drink lots of water after your night out.

But on a night out I normally have a bottle of rose wine and then vodka and redbull.

That ok.. or is that what you call 'mixing drinks'

No, only if I mix just about everything tbh. Drinking milk to "line your stomach" seems to work

I tend to calm drinking down a bit towards the end of a night, also find walking home rather than taxi helps sober up a bit.

I always have a decent meal before I go out.
When I get back I have a couple of pints of water before I go to bed.
Then I always have plenty of orange juice in a morning.

I drink every week end and have only had one hangover I can remember, so it seems to work for me.

FFS Will dont be drinking. You cant afford to lose anymore brain cells!

Seriously though i always have a drink of water when i get in and take a pint up to bed. I don't get hangovers if i avoid lager. I can mix cider, shots and alcohpops all night but throw lager into the occasion and im asking for trouble.

They'll have had plenty of practice so I'd take that as gospel

Miles off topic but have you had directions off an Irishman yet Robertinho? 'a wee mile down the road' normally means at least 20 miles

Glass of berocca in the morning if I'm hungover, else I'll just stop drinking as much/fast when I'm quite drunk and drink 2 pints of water when I get home, then try and stay up for half an hour.

90% of what a hangover is is dehydration, due to the fact alcohol is a diuretic.

So when you get in make sure you try to rehydrate yourself, same first thing in the morning when you get up.

Make my first drink a guiness and it normally prevents a hangover the next day, haven't done it for a while though.

Tropicana Orange with bits!

Have a glass before you go to bed and leave it by your bed over night. That way if you wake up with dry mouth, just have a drink. Then when you get up just finish it all. By the time it's 12pm you'll be all fresh again to start drinking!
