i have a l reg 1.2 8v vauxhall corsa b and i am wanting to fit a volts meter into my car its a vdo one out of a porche (sp)
i havent got a clue what wires it is to fit it into m car so could you tell me what ignition wire it is and where is there a good place to earth it to.
on the back of the gauge there is 1 brown wire and 2 black ones
if there is anything else i need to know please say, thank you
any help will be very apreciated.

brown wire will be for earth and 1 of the black wires will be for the light and 1 will be for the volt meter

its got a seperate wire and holder for the bulb mate

i dont know then mate 1 might go to permant live and 1 might go to ignition?

Normally only one black that will go to ign live ,the brown earth ,other black don,t know maybe both blacks to ign live.
