been listening to it for a while now, well since that movie O Brother Where art Thou

Really enjoy it, but we dont get any over here really so have to listen to it online. OK a lot of it sounds like Smokey and the Bandit chase music but some is really good

My other half plays Bluegrass mandolin and guitar, and is slowly converting me to 'the dark side'

You'd be surprised at how popular Bluegrass is this side of the pond, we go to a few Bluegrass festivals and there is loads of picking sessions throughout the UK if you want to play mandolin/guitar/banjo/double bass etc. or just want to listen to some live music. Have a look at http://ukbluegrass.com for links and stuff.

Some Bluegrass artists you might like (the ones I can remember anyway lol):

Alison Krauss
Blue Highway
Cadillac Sky
Dan Tyminski
Ricky Skaggs
Earl Scruggs

Earl Scruggs and Steve Martin (yes the actor lol) - Foggy Mountain - not entirely 'proper' Bluegrass as there is piano/drums/electric guitar in this too
