I have asked a similar before, but that was regarding companies to use.
If I wanted a company logo on a jacket, and went to a clothing company with a design of jacket (I.E like the offical VXR Racing fleece jackets), what are the legal copyright implications? Would a company do it or tell me no?
I wouldn't mind getting a batch made up as I know a few other similar owners would probably like to purchase one. I've got my design ideas (in head, not on paper) and probably sell a few to fellow owners, but im unsure on the legal issues of it.
btw, the companys in Italy/China, so not too much chance of them really finding out so easily as it would be quite low key..
Anyone done anything like it?

What sort of numbers are you talking about? And Im guessing you're on about a standard style of clothing but with custom embroidery/printing on them?
Unless you're talking 1000's of units then you'll be much better going to one of the many companies over here who will do it for you.

Tens if anything. Kinda 10 medium, 10 large etc...
Yeah, basically I want a company badge, and on the Back, have Tornado Tre in a custom colour scheme.
I was gonna use either a UK company, or order it from an Indian company or somewhere cheap. Not too fussed on overall price, just more worried about copyright and such.
Won't be used really as a constent selling item.

Im going to guess in such small runs like that most companies wouldnt be bothered about copyright issues, just say they are to be given away free on a car forum or something and not for profit and will probably worry even less.
By the time you have shipping etc. on an order from abroad it'll end up costing as much as it would from here.

None can do a T-Shirt, hoody and jacket?
Have you searched the net with your eyes closed? 1000's of companies specialise in doing exactly what you have just mentioned above.

They all have to be in the same-ish green which most sites call bottle green. I cant find ANYONE who prints on Green slim fit polos.

Buy your own clothing then get someone to print/embroider on it, loads of places that will allow you to do that.

Technically by selling something with a copyrighted logo (ie. VXR) you are in breach of copyright and could be sued.
If you're only doing a dozen or so though, who is going to know

+1.
Just buy a load from M&S and take them to a print shop or embroider and get them them to put what you want on it. Millions of places that will do this for you.
There is even a stall in the White Rose Centre up here that does it while you wait. We got loads done this way for our Football team and it worked out loads cheaper.

As AndyKent says the copyright is on the logo
