Boatride is crap, most of the bars are crap, fleamarket is crap, museums are crap, RLD is even crap, there are only 2 clubs in the city and the local food is rottin. Go to the Irish bar which is on the Rokin they do great food and great guinness. Infact the best thing to do is stay in a good coffeeshop for as long as you can then go and get lost.
Good coffeeshops are:
La Canna, Just off Dam Sq near the Palace. Its huge, 3 floors, pool tables and its one of the few you can buy alcahol in.

Any of the Bulldogs, they sell wicked mushrooms.

Grasshopper

DONT go into The Other Side, its the only gh3y coffeeshop in the city.

Its worth a visit to the Cannabis museum, that pretty cool.

Dont be going into La Paradise, its on Dam Straat, the Rastas in there make you feel really unwanted, they just stare at you awkwardly.

Dont eat the pizza from wee stalls throughout the city, its mingin, and heated up from a week ago!

Eat cakes, cakes are good!

Amsterdam is a really interesting place to visit. U have to appreciate other countries and expect them to be different to ours. 3 days in amsterdam is not going to be crap theres plenty to do and if it was crap i definately wouldn't go back espeicially with the amount of places i want to go

I just want to get out of my face for three days

And the boat trips are not shit they're VERY interesting, lots of History in Amsterdam
