How old are them bands  had them when i was at school also called shag-bands and if you broke it with a girl you would end up having sex with her. Never happend though  .

Anyways, shag bands have been around since I was in middle school which was 18 years ago, why the big deal about them now? I don't think anyone really takes them seriously and fucks anyone who breaks one

Sounds like the mechanics rite of passage: Get soaked in oil, petrol and brake cleaner then set alight with a blowtorch! Happened to me and then i did it to the apprentice when we got another. just one of those things!
