My Nova SRI 1992 'J' reg project thread.



bought the car late August. its a 1.4 8V with full service history, 3 owners and 94,000miles.
The interior is as new, not a mark on it, had seat covers over it most of its life so i intend to do the same to keep them that way. the car has a gsi kit and wheels on it. the only thing i would say about the car is that the paint needs TLC, but it wouldn't be a project car if everything was done

the only modifications are:

Koni adjustables
Prospeed exhaust system

The exhaust is still under warrenty and the koni's are only a couple of months old.

I love driving the car, always puts a smile on my face, and it gets attention where ever it goes due to not seeing many of them around anymore.

My plans for the car is:

-Cesaros Done
-ful shell respray after winter
-v6 brakes
-laguna splitter
-lowered 60mm
-find a pin stripe colour i like in the bumpers



the Cesaros will be getting sand blasted soon and will be getting painted vauxhall silver lightning
i gave one wheel a quick spray to ive you an idea of colour: crap pic

lol, cheers buddy. pics make the car look better. you will see what i mean if you see it for yourself. patches of the paint need TLC so im going to do it properly as the novas are only going up in value so im going to get a bare shell respray after winter some time. will be then.

wheels are done one of the wheels decided to react over night though cant be bothered to sort it out now, having the tyres put on tomorrow, will get pics up once they are on. i'll have to have the wheels done by someone properly some other time.

whats the best performance cam to buy for my engine?

i want a uprated cam that will work well with a standard rev limiter and without having the pistons dipped

any suggestions?
