I have a stereo that i have just taken out of my corsa and put in an older corsa (mates) with all the same adapters and the thing will not turn on... i tested it back in my corsa and it works fine. What could be the problem?

I managed to swap the yellow and red around, the stereo then makes a noise like its ejecting a cd but nothing happens after that...

any ideas????

Ah just messed about with the red and yellow wires, red to red and yellow to red fixed it. Working now

Im in Herne Bay mate.

ok yep that will bypass it and your radio will be on constant unless you remove the facia, as you have must of guessed by now.

you can have it so that it will just work when you turn your ignition on, but it depends on how lazy you are tbh
