Do the twinports have different emissions? Is that the other type of 1.4?

well i've got the z14xe pre twinport engine, but the twinport engine is a z14xep, power wise they are the same but I think they may have different emissions, I believe the twinport is meant to be better emissions wise, but I'm sure its in a higher tax band

edit: from parkers...
z14xe
Euro Emissions Standard IV
CO2 Emissions 168 g/km
Road Tax Band H

z14xep twinport
Euro Emissions Standard IV
CO2 Emissions 146 g/km
Road Tax Band F

so slightly better emissions on the later engine

Ok mate, thanks. Can you just confirm what it says on your logbook for yours. Reason im asking is were buying a car over here for my brother in Ireland who is re registering it over there to do driving instructing. The VRT depends on the co2 emissions.

Later ones were 146g/km iirc, early ones were anywhere between 168 - 173 iirc
