My cars been sitting for 5 weeks and the hand brake has ceased up. Anyone know any good tips on how to un-jam it?

Grease/WD40 up the Plastic Sliders on the Rear Axel, usually the problem. If its in the Drum that its ceased(ie. the cable goes loose) then get some mates to bounce up and down on the edge of the boot.

Take the wheels off and smack the drums with a mallet until they come free.

i normally find leave the hand brake on and reverse sorts the problem

My corsa did it all the time. HAndbrake off then just up and down on the door sill rocking the car.
Or drive up the road...

I had one that was soo seized. I ended up getting rage and smashed it off with a hammer. Ended up getting new drums
