Is there any difference in exhaust systems for the c16xe compared to the x16xe?

Yes there is, the exhaust manifold and cat are different lengths.
They need to be used in pairs - if you are using a C16XE manifold, you need to use a C16XE cat/decat.
Similarly, if you are using a X16XE manifold, you need to use a X16XE cat/decat.
There is no difference from the cat back though, as as Dave said, the X16XE and X14XE are identical, manifold etc too.

I'm not sure on that, but if it does, you'll need a C16XE cat/decat to go with it.
Just to clarify from earlier, when I was talking about manifolds, I was talking about manifold and downpipe as one unit

I fitted my x16xe exhaust on my c16xe. Just had to measure up and chop a bit off the c16xe cat

the down pipe on the c16xe manifold is a different shape/bend so that a x16xe cat wouldn't fit unless slightly modified mate,
