This car is so much fun to drive and I will regret it but I really should get something a little more sensible. I'm after a swap or px but if the right offer comes along I'll take it. I'm afraid I have no idea what its worth but its a very rare car and with 16v powers its a hell of alot of fun.
the spec:
1979 Vauxhall Chevette L
1.6 16v engine from a corsa sport done 50k when removed.
Omega box. Loads stronger than the manta box.
Manta A back axle
Properly made balanced single piece prop. No cut n shut
Performance inlet manifold
Full stainless exhaust
Spax adjustable shocks all round
13x7 Superlites with 175/50/13 tires.
2 spare wheels with tires for skidding
fully undersealed and waxoiled
HID's
Car weighs about 850k and has 130bhp
I'm sure I have forgotten things but just ask anything.
I have removed 90% of all the rust and welded in new metal. All that is left to do are the rear arches. I do have 1 repair panel and am trying to source the other side so they can be done. Once there done it will be rust free and ready for a respray.
