I think Harry Warden (from My Bloody Valentine) is one of the scariest looking mofos from a horror film so I'm going to make a custome for the Halloween party im going to..

I've got an old hard hat that I am going to spray paint satin black and fit a light to and I've ordered a fancy dress gas mask thing from ebay for £3.99..

So I need:

Black over-alls.
Thick Black Gloves (got these).
Black Belt
Pipe for gas mask
Some window tint vinyl (to tint the gask mask eye holes)
Black work boots
Pick Axe

Obviously I cant carry around a real pickaxe so I need to build a fake one, but how can I build a massive fake pick-axe that looks realistic? Any ideas?

..Pick axe wise I was thinking cut the head out of a piece of 2x2 so its like a really like equilateral triangleand paint it grey and bore a big hole through it for the handle.. But what can I use as a pickaxe handle, a broom handle will be two thin.. Hmm maybe a cheap shovel/spade?

Go for the spade handle then just find some thick plastic from a kids toy and cut it into a axe head.

vinyl wrap, you can get it in loads of places, foam head is bit safer than a block of wood

Just recieved my fancy-dress gas mask.. While I wasnt expecting miracles I was expecting it to look at least something like the photos on the eBay shop.

And generally when paying for postage and packing I would expect to get a service marginly above: "screwing it up and stuffing it into a plastic bag".

Tis a joke!
