hi ive now sold the turbo corsa and bought myself my second suzuki sj,
has not mot or tax im just using it as a bit of weekend fun offroad,
a few mates have them and i thought the looked like fun.
something diffrent,
its an sj413 1.3 engine with unknown axles.
my plans for it is to chop the rear bed off, convert it into a tray back move the petrol tank ontop of the track back, bigger wheels and tyres, raise the suspension.

here are some pics of my previous one.

took it out down some local green lanes relised it was no good in ruts due to the diffs being pretty close to the ground and the body being nearly standard height, so looking for some 16inch grand vitara wheels if anyone has any for sale?
also im in the progress of putting the leaf springs onto of the axles to give about a 6 inch lift

looks good, bet those wheels would fetch a bit on ebay when you get your vitara ones as well, they'd look great on a tidy SJ. Makes me miss my old one

I know of a few with 1.7 diesel izuzu engines and they're pretty good. I think you can put 1.5 and 1.9 diesel pug engines in aswell. V8's are over rated off road, diesel all the way. Mine had a 2.5 daihatsu diesel and could not be stopped

Wouldn't it be better running injection? since it might be at some crazy angles at some stage.
