Id mention where you are based on the first page.
Also look at changing the default font to something like Ariel or along those lines and slightly smaller.
And if you can make the text larger on the menu links then that will make them easier to see.

Nice and tidy. I'd also think about making the text on the menu links larger because it might be difficult for people to read. Also, I think the red text at the bottom of the page would look beter if it was centered...

If you can, use text instead of images too for the menu links to make it more accesable.

Its decent, I like it.
It doesn't look over-designed (a good thing) and suits level of customer I guess you're aiming for.
As said, using bigger text (not images) for links and also I'd make sure you get your phone number in view without scrolling on all pages.
I'd also loose the form to take customers details. You'll never get anyone to fill it out, they'd prefer to ring you or at worst email, not sign themselves up to a mailing list.

Tables are a bit old hat now, Look into Divs & style it all with CSS.
Its not bad, id check it works in all browsers too.
from a SEO point of view your not going to get very far.
but as it looks lke you havent coded it yourself theres probally not allot you can really do about that.

can i make a suggestion? not sure how this will go down. but my uncles company never advertised anywhere, literally the vans thats it.
he had some flyers made, old school methods, and posted some and left some in shops. he is booked now until march 2010.

lol no, i was just demonstrating that joinery is seen as old fashioned hands on work, and the old fashioned advertising approach is doing wonders for my uncle.
he has had his flyers made, with a look on them so it appears like they have been stained with wood stain.

TBH, he should do a bit of both - flyers, etc. with the website on so people can check out his work.
I know I liked to of see some pics of the stuff our joiners, etc. had done before we got them to do the work on our shops, and saves the fella having to bring a folder full of his pics round to me.

have sone flyers aswell plus pelnty of business cards but i think people have gone of flyers a lot due to dodgy cowboys etc, with the website it is really just to get a few pics up for people to see but these will be cahged for some decent ones and reorganised a bit i think, where i live theres a lot of competiotion for work as its only a small town, van will be getting sign written also i had my old one done but think it was a bit much on it so going to keep it simple on the new one. also name is a bit gay and mates do take the piss but it was the first thing that came to mind as my name is andy stevens
