As a way to get fit without having to go to a mundane gym i decided to take up a bit of mountain biking. Seemed a good idea with a few lads at work doing it too. And have to say i'm totally hooked on it! It like i'm a kid again splashing through puddles and mud, doing wheelies and bunny hops! I know there's a few keen cyclists on here, so lets see what we're all pedalling on! Get yer' muddy bikes out!
Mine's a Focus Northern Lite...

My Orange Hitman (I'll find a better pic)
Had it about 3 years now, absolute bomb proof, never let me down once.
Could do with something a little more suitable for longer rides, although I don't think I can justify a new bike just yet, what with the house and all! Maybe next summer

I have a push-rod, but nothing worth shouting about. Need to get back out on it to enjoy trying to get a little fit. I think my friends are a little old for it now though!

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Awesome - Go-dad!
Wish I had someone to ride along with, but that could handle my very slow pace! I'd like to go shooting at a skate park also.

Ditto.. My old dear is just about to turn 60 and she cycles 8 miles to work (8 miles back) every day and can swim over a mile with ease... I feel inadequate
