... annoyed an 09 plate audi A3 1.9 cdt something or other. He undertook me on a roundabout so i sat behind him up to 127 before we had to slow. I was surprised, when should my car hit the limiter? Turns out he was going to meet an old mate of mine who called me up asking about it lol. This kid was pissed off a cheap 1.6 kept up with his new audi, he said he clocked 130 ish in his aswell.
Private road btw

That sounds like a fast 1.9 diesel. The 1.9 in the A3 is dog slow. 103BHP, 5 speed gearbox 0-60 in 11 seconds
I've had one as a courtesy car, they're crap.

127mph on standard F15 box with standard rev limit.
In other words, if you wasn't at the limiter, you wasn't even doing 125 probably.
Book speed on a Sport 1.6 16v is 119mph. Tigra gets a higher speed due to shape (127mph - limiter). Corsa is shaped like a brick.

A Tigra 1.6 16v would NEVER in a million years do 127mph. It struggles to hit 100mph.
130mph on a Corsa GSi clock is 117mph in real world.

If it's an 09 plate 1.9tdi it's only 105PS, in a car that weighs about twice as much, well done.
Also, it would have taken a million years for a 105PS to get to 130.

When I put all the audio in D4 it wouldn't even break 102mph after nearly 2 miles (bruntingthorpe, timing equipment, 1.4 16v).

All i stated was what was shown on the clocks, so at no point did I say "I was definately doing 130"

120mph is nothing these days, i reckon there are more cars on the road that can do 120mph than ones that can't.
its like saying i can do 0-60 in 8secs.
nothing special, just the norm....
