hey,

Im thinking of lowering my corsa to around 40-60m. Do I have to replace the springs and the shocks or just the springs?

Thanks in advance

P.s. This is for my dads piece of mind!!

40mm you could do with standard shocks but it's not a great idea with 60mm springs as it'll wreck the shocks.

You really would be better off with a proper matched kit, because lowering springs on standard shocks make for one very bouncy ride.

You can get full kits for not much more than £200 if you're on a budget, there is always the option of spending more if you can/want to. What I have is an Apex kit which comes in at £260 + p&p nowadays, and it's a fairly good cheapish kit. You'd certainly be better off with these than the likes of Gmax or Jamex. http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=1634&manufacturer=Apex&category=Suspension

im currently using standard shocks with 40mm springs and the ride is horrible, hate to think what it would be like with 60s on standard shocks

if you do just use springs and dont mind the bouncing then thats kewl but tbh ill be ditchin my springs for a full set soon so the springs were just a waste of money

all down to own preferences

but this website is the chepest ive found for suspension so far

Venom Motorsport is a really good site, the price has gone up since I bought my kit, but they were £50 cheaper than everywhere else and it arrived really quickly
