Ok so on flickr for example some people put their name on the photo to show it is actually their photo. How do you do this, and on flickr how do you make it a spaceball so people can't save your photo ?
I want to put some on flickr but don't want them all being taken. cheers

Watermark?. There is an option on most decent packages to do it, paintshop etc.. There is probably also stand alone apps.
Not sure about the spaceball part?. It doesn't stop you anyway. I just print screen

Why do you not want people to save your photo?
I always save pictures and get pissed off when it says copyright protected or some other crap.

I don't want people nicking all the credit for photos that I take tbh. If I can put my name on it or what ever then I don't mind if people have them etc

Are your photos good enough for people to want to take credit for them?

Watermark is probably your best bet, if you just get your name put on in the corner or something someone could easily photoshop it out.

Usually the point of putting your name on it is so people can't photoshop it out, because then they could claim it's theirs. You could put some semi-transparent text across the middle of the image, that way it has your name on it, doesn't completely ruin the image, and can't be removed.

Upload them to Photobucket, you can put a watermark on them, (edit,Text) (your name) and actually put the (C) logo on, not sure about the 'Sapceball'.

The spaceball is used when you set your download permissions to stop people downloading it. It's very easy to get around, though.

Water marks can be removed, but its a proper fuck on, so unless someone is determined/has alot of time on their hands to remove it, watermark is your best bet.

I have some many great car photos and I think some people will take them and perhaps put them on forums claiming they took them etc
