hi all need abit of help, My cd player has got power constantly going through it, i can play my cd player without the ignition being on, i know theres something that needs doing with the wires in the back of the cd player but i just dont know what, could someone possibly shed some light on it for me please.

If this is a Vauxhall, you need to swap the red and yellow wires over then it'll work properly.

no its not he is completely right, it will be running off a perminant live, hense why it stays on constantly, ideally connect one power lead to a perminant live and one power to the cig lighter instead of both to the perminant
ignore the changing red and yellow crap, thats just for holding memory of the headunit
