Random fact; Lego is the largest tyre manufacturer by volume in the world!

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Have around 60m (collection of sets me and bro got for xmas and the likes) of the stuff in a box in the garage. Got a load of 80s/early 90s F1 and Porsche Cup cars, although most of them are a little worse for wear.
Price of new cars is stupid though, £50 for a cosworth

Was one of the ones i was looking at, looks epic

Still remember getting the Scalextric out when the F1 was on, watching mansell fly around a track (Williams days) and pretending to be him with my Scalextrics

I've noticed that Scalextric has gone digital now, looks a bit cack

Thinking about it, i've got a red Mk3 Escort somewhere, had head/brake lights, was pretty good on the corners, especially when changing the tyres for slicks (nabbed them off the F1 cars) rather than the grooved tyres that came with it. Never had magnet cars though, poverty spec all the way
Got the original Dunlop (yellow, black) bridge as well.

I'm sure with the amount of track we all have we could get a serious circuit (or perhaps a drag strip) going

that could be a good idea as part of an open day,
would like the spiral track going up next to the stairs as a feature in my house, would be pretty cool
