Author Type 1 or 2 mounting kit? Also which fuel pump?

Obviously for a 1.4 16v with PAS I'd need a type 2 kit, but I'm changing to a manual rack so do I need a type 1 kit then?

Also, is the 1.4 fuel pump fine or is it better to get a calibra/vectra or some other pump? For a c20xe.

1.4 16v Fuel Pump is fine.

You'll still need a type 2 kit i think mate.

you will still need a type 2 kit it has nothing to do with the steering rack

I thought the difference between the 2 was that one comes with a PAS mount.

the difference is the 8v front engine mount is different mate so you need the type 2 mounting kit which is for the 16v shell, and some 8v's did come with powersteering so that doesn't make a differnence as scott said

Yeah, ordered them but the websites been down for 3 weeks, not answering the phones, no email replies.

oh shame as mine came a week after i ordered them and got a reply to my email almost instantly, either chris astley or buy the mounts seperate from ebay mate

type engine mount here mate, then you use the sports front and rear gearbox mount
