Serious. Most of the main roads are closed. The back roads will be flooded out.

Roads going in to town are jammed with people trying to go home but the roads are shut so will be lucky to get out of town itself. Its chaos

I got home ok BTW. Went down some back roads, through a few reasonably deep floods but just kept it in 1st gear, highish revs and ploughed through.

People panic and start exaggerating things. It wasn't half as bad as what I had been told.

Its not good but the roads I drove down were passable at the moment. The problem is that they think there is more to come.
