Im looking at a stripped out caged Nova With gsi bumpers with a Throttle bodied engine..Tbh Money & time isnt a option as it will be a project and doing it my self..

Is there Kits I can get for the c20xe for the throttle bodies i looked at the c20let but i want this for a track toy...Also what would i need to uprate on the Xe for the throttle bodies to be able to rev nicely...

I know i would need some nice cams..im also Looking at around 200bhp with pure noise

It'll cost a lot of money to get an XE built up to a good, reliable spec!

A B18 engined civic, would be more powerful, quicker, reliable and handle better. Better car over all even with the B18 standard.

I'm not saying they are shit, far from it. But it depends entirely on which B18. And they are not THAT fast.

Im just going from personal experience. My XE Corsa, with a Quaiffe and good suspension set up managed a 15.3 1/4 mile. My mates B18'd Civic ran a 13.7 which is the same as my LET. And his smashed me on the corners.

just start with a c20xe - once you can get 100% of its power to the track move up to TB's or C20LET

That will be down to the driver then Pickford

My mate's B18 CRX has a best time of 14 dead at Crail, which won't be much infront of a standard XE Corsa. And it'll cost a hell of a lot more to make the CRX!
