:hello: Been on here for a few months now, put a post in here and there.
But now its looking slightly more presentable im going to start a little project thread!
Ive heard it over and over its a 5 Door, just leave it but i got it for free and im going to be keeping it for a while so why not change it to how i want

And i know some pics have the Reg plate blurred and some dont, i dont know why.

So it started off like this, 1.2 with 47k on it.

I then i bought a cheapy badge-less grill off the good old ebay

Then fitted the grill and de-badged the 'Corsa Club' badges.

Then for some reason took the wheel trims off ...

Then bought some 40mm lowering springs of someone on corsasport, Big thanks to Callum (D-Monkey) who fitted them for me, without coil compressors... was quite funny

Old Springs on...

Comparison...

New Springs on...

Nice bit of rust under there...
Not overly bad for a 10 year old car.

Didnt really think about getting any decent before and after shots but here's one a couple week after being lowered. Not a big difference in looks but can slightly feel the difference in handling.

It stayed like this for quite a while, another pic

And the most recent change, for the past few months ive been looking for a decent set of Corsa c sxi alloys but after being let down a couple of times an offer came up that i could refuse so i happily took delivery of these Cesaro's from someone up north. Bit annoyed that the centre caps Vauxhall emblem got painted over but mehh, there you go.

Then fitted them and took some pictures.

So thats how it stands up to now, Looks alot better than it did.
Still want to get some Depo headlights and coilovers in the near future as it really needs to sit lower and ive got Smoked repeaters that i still need to fit.
And sorry for the stupid amounts of pics

So, I'll have to come introduce myself and get to know some of you as i pretty much know no-one ops:
Or come introduce yourselves!

Well it has certainly been a while since ive updated this. Bought depo's off a bloke on migweb for a very good price.
Pic in the light now

Now that was the last beautiful picture before my umm slight knock ...

basically, a stupidly icey night, went to turn. and the wheels just slipped. I then cruised into a huge VW Soarer going about 10 mph

Soo so annoyed, new depo - smashed front bumper buggerd, few bits and bobs bent, and for some reason it wouldn't drive.
Got it home and had a look, driveshaft had came out and needed some bits bent back into position.

So over the winter this is how he sat ...

Not the best pics i know.

and just before he left for the garage to be repaired...

I do have pictures of it at the garage, engineless ..
BUT in better news, i'll have him back tomorrow and i have some new parts to fit
I managed to get my hands on a drivers side smoked depo to replace the one i smashed, got an 8000K Hid kit (hi/low)
Anndd won this on ebay, did belong to 'aron' - very rare Steinmetz backbox

Whilst it was at the garage, managed to source a star silver bonnet and side panel, got a front bumper sprayed. Also managed to get my hands on a driver's side depo headlight to replace the one that smashed.

Whilst it was getting repaired managed to get up to the garage and take some pics of the car...

:? wheres the engine...

ops: there is it ...

And then within a week of these pictures got a phone call to say car was ready so got my dad to drop me to the garage and i drove the car home and this is how it looked.
All repaired and driving like it should

Slowly but surely started putting the parts back on, alloys etc.
Then fitted depo's and my HID kit thanks to Quadz.
And this is how it looks to date.

Next to my dads Leon FR

And Coilovers will be ordered at the end of the month
