May not be dodgy, but possibly just stupidity to make that mistake

It would be stupidity of the highest order if they had no backups of what basically is their biggest asset. Even more stupid if those back ups were in the same location as the original data.

If I had a business I'd also have invested in some decent fire safes for day to day data and of course have off site storage. Sounds like it's gonna be a slow recovery if at all.

Agreed.

If you're basically pissing all over the market with your product you would have some sort of safeguard to prevent something like that happening.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

With my business insurance, one of the conditions of it is that I have offsite backup for all my important data (I assume other business insurance policies are the same?).

it's like rule 1, back up data. Rule 2 keep backed up data at different location to orignal data.

This seems a bit :/, Sorry to see it happen.

I was about to say that. If you don't have the sense to have off site back up, then a fire safe would make sense!

[QUOTE=Powerflex]Thank you for your concerns.

Whilst Powerflex has suffered a major fire, the data, tools and some equipment are safe.

We have already moved key equipment and people into a new factory unit and the office is being set up at this moment.

We expect to be able to return to our rightful position as Europe ’s Number 1 High Performance Suspension bush supplier within a matter of a few weeks.
