All of you who are aware of the "water leak I had"
Well I've just had it back from MOT..
took it in thinking maybe just break pads otherwise its a solid car..
Turned out I need handbrake cable. shock, calliper pads
Took me over a month to source the parts
anyway 5-600 pounds later I get the car back.. and its now pouring water (wasn't before)
took the undertray off today
and the water bleed bolt from underneath is completely missing..
coincidence?
Going to phone garage monday

They wouldn't take the undertray off for an MOT though

just a bit naughty that, they might need to remove the under tray to inspect the inner cv gaitors..
If they have been under there anits started leaking as soon as you left the garage then they are going to be in a fair amount of shit

they aren't allowed to remove anything, if they can see it because its covered in undertrays then they will put on an advise "unable to inspect underneath of vehicle due to undertray/shielding"

Yep, same as discs/pads and that sort of thing, they can't remove wheels to look properly, they just have to look as best they can.

surely the undertray would come off when the handbrake cable etc was done?!
If had all new brakes on rear callipers the lot?
It was fine prior to going in.. 1 month later its pissing water and there is a bolt missing

my exact thought.. but I just find it a massive coincidence that it was fine before going in. I drive it home and water everywhere?

1 month is a long time.....
I think your just clutching at straws and its a bad coincedence, as said they wouldn't touch anything to do with the cooling to do the jobs.
